Sarracenias differ in the time of the year when they grow best. Sarracenia Fiona is our own hybrid, and is not greatly affected by seasonal variations. The pitchers colour relatively quickly, and start growing in early spring. Like all Sarracenias, the young pitchers of Sarracenia Fiona are green, and the full-grown pitchers take on a red colour.
